Reopening the Library

Recommendations and guidelines for using the library during this time. . .

Returning items

Returned items will be held for 72 hours before being checked in. Please do not worry if your returned items remain on your account. Check back in a few days and call us if there are issues.

Planning your visit

Keep visits brief.
Limit the number of family members visiting the building.
Staff and public are required to wear a mask in the public areas of the building. If you are unable or unwilling to wear a mask, we will be happy to serve you curbside.

Computer Use

WiFi is available in and around the building.
We have reduced the number of library computers to comply with social distance guidelines.
There is limited technical assistance.

Use remote options.

Overdrive or Hoopla for ebooks / audio / music / movies.
Curbside Pickup will be offered during open hours.
Call, email, or log into the catalog to renew items.
Return items in the book drop.

The library is not planning in-person programming through the rest of 2020.

How curbside pickup works

1. Place a request by emailing the library or by logging into the catalog. Phone requests may not be attended to in a timely manner at the present time.

2. You will receive a phone call or email from library staff indicating when your materials are available for pickup.

3. When you arrive in the library parking lot, call the library at 267-8331. A staff member wearing a mask will bring out your items. Please have your trunk open or rear window down to receive items.

4. If you currently have items you wish to return, those should be placed in the receptacle outside.
