Youth Services Librarian

The trustees of the Belmont Public Library are seeking a Youth Services Librarian (32 hours per week) to plan and conduct programs for families and patrons under 18, to contribute to juvenile collection development, and to provide front-line patron services. Some evening work; one Saturday per month.

Salary range: $17 per hour at start, potential for increase at 3 and 6 months
Education: An associates degree from an accredited college or university in the social sciences, humanities, education, or a related field and some professional training in library work, OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting on the basis of one year of experience for each year of education.
This position may be full-time after March 2023.
